- Tension: The ‘ㅆ’ in ‘때 (ttae)’ and ‘ㅆ (ss)’ at the bottom are tensed sounds. Pronounce them stronger and sharper than a soft ‘s’. It sounds like [Eo-ttae-sseo-yo].
