- Detailed Explanation: This is the first thing you say. It is polite and clear. You can use this when you arrive or if the receptionist can’t seem to find your details immediately.

- Look at 확인해 (hwaginhae). When the final consonant ‘ㄴ(n)’ meets the ‘ㅎ(h)’ sound, the ‘h’ often becomes weak or disappears, and the ‘n’ slides over.
- So, instead of saying “Hwagin-hae” with a hard stop, say it smoothly like [Hwagine]. It sounds much more natural!
2. 제 이름이 없나요? (Is my name not there?)
- Pronunciation: [Je ireumi eomnayo?]
- English Meaning: Is my name not there? / Can you not find my name?
- Detailed Explanation: If the staff looks confused, you can ask this. It shows you are concerned that the booking might be missing. It is a soft question, not an angry demand.

- Wait, why is ‘없나요’ pronounced [eomnayo]?
- This is called Nasalization. The bottom consonants ‘ㅂ/ㅅ (bs)’ in ‘없’ make a ‘p’ sound (becoming ‘up’). When this ‘p’ sound meets the ‘n’ sound in ‘나 (na)’, the ‘p’ changes into an ‘m’ sound for smoother flow.

- So, say [Eom-na-yo], not “Eop-na-yo”!
3. 날짜를 잘못 알았어요. (I got the date wrong.)
- Pronunciation: [Naljjareul jalmot arasseoyo]
- English Meaning: I got the date wrong / I misunderstood the date.
- Detailed Explanation: Sometimes the mistake is ours! Maybe you booked for next week by accident. Admitting the mistake politely is the first step to asking for a change.
